Following the launch of its global platform, “Fans Have More Friends,” Heineken created the Clinker: a device that, with a simple cheers, reveals the musical match between fans and lets them stay connected after the festival.
The challenge? To turn the device into a cultural phenomenon able to stand out in the highly competitive music festival landscape, generating thousands of real-life connections and reinforcing Heineken’s role as a catalyst for contemporary social life.

For 3 days at Nameless Festival, we brought to life an immersive, data-driven area: the Heineken Stage, the first space that rewrites itself based on the music tastes of the people experiencing it.
Thanks to a connectivity and data management infrastructure, we turned the Clinker into the trigger for the entire experience. Every clink revealed a musical match between Spotify profiles; every match generated an insight about the tastes of the fans on site, allowing us to shape, in real time:
Everything was amplified through an integrated communication platform launched weeks before, including a community call-out, creator amplification, media partnerships, and a dedicated episode of Supernova, one of Italy's leading podcasts.
